We Need a Substitute Photographer & Sales Representative

  • Department: Sales & Marketing
  • Position Status: On call

General Purpose of the Position
This position will be on call to perform duties as either a photographer or a sales representative on an as needed basis. This position could also be called in to support the photography/sales department for other functions. When acting as a photographer, the firefighter is responsible for fulfilling the job requirements of the photography position. Likewise, when acting as a sales representative, the firefighter is responsible for fulfilling the job requirements of a sales representative. This position will be paid a salary plus incentive pay when called out to work in either one of the above listed capacities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain an “on call” status, defined as being available to be called to work on an as needed basis by the National Sales Manager.
  • When acting as a Photographer, this position is responsible for the following:
    1. Take 4 to 5 photographs of each individual member of the contracted organization.
    2. Responsible for the custody and care of all photography equipment.
    3. Successfully store and transfer digital images to the sales representative, for poses to be selected and portrait & other products to be sold.
    4. Support sales and service efforts in collaboration with Product Sales Representatives and company goals.
  • When acting as a Sales Representative, this position is responsible for the following:
    1. Sell portrait packages and other company products to individual members of the contracted customer organization and collect appropriate deposits.
    2. Assist customers in choosing their desired pictures to appear on their composite.
    3. Sign continuing, extended, renewed, or new composite contracts with current customer base and new customers.
    4. Prepare invoice and work order for composite customer and collect appropriate deposits.
  • Respond quickly and completely to customer service issues.

Education & Experience
  • Associates degree in photography, arts, or business-related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous photography and sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in a college fraternity or sorority is desirable.
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations is required.
  • Must be able to travel up to 35 weeks each academic year.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Reliable automobile required.

The Sales Manager is responsible for new business development , leading the Business Development sales team & driving the sale of the organization’s products and services in alternative markets resulting in increased market penetration, revenue generation and account retention.

  • Work with Executive Management in the development and implementation of sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for new business, products, and services.
  • Manage, motivate and drive the performance of the the Business Development team, including their achievement of goals, maintaining of profit margins and bringing in of new business.
  • Set Business Development performance goals & sales territories.

We Need a Digital Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

The Digital Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant effectively supports the National Marketing Manager on developing, coordinating and executing on-brand marketing initiatives and strategies.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with NMM on marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Design, execute, track and analyze digital campaigns across all channels
  • Identify KPIs to measure campaign success and offer options according to data
  • Build, populate and execute social media plan, targeting specific audiences
  • Design print collateral adhering to brand guidelines
  • Source and produce engaging quality content, examples include, photos, video, illustrated gifs, etc.
  • Provide support with competitive research and analysis
  • Maintain company website
  • Maintain google analytic reports
  • Stay relevant with trends, program functionalities and best practices
  • Support coordination and execution of national conventions. Travel and attendance required.

We Need a Business Development Representative

  • Position Status: Full Time
General Purpose

Increase market share acquiring new contracts with Greek sorority and fraternity organizations. Responsible for re-signing organizations that do not re-sign in the field after our service is completed and whose contract terms have lapsed; these contracts must have no additional years of photography & they become available to New Business fourteen days after the Field Team has completed photography.  This position is the primary contact for inquiries from potential customers

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Contact potential customers using all medias including phone calls, email, direct mailings, and on campus visits.
  • Gather marketing and contact information (re-con), using the internet, phone calls, emails, and other methods, to effectively approach potential customers and close deals.
  • Match products & services to customer requirements, prepare quotes, and close contracts for defined products & services.
  • Re-sign customer organizations that have not renewed their contracts in the field.
  • Meet with key clients to negotiate & close deals.
  • Serve as primary contact for inquiries from potential customers.
  • Answer competitor-related questions, analyze competitive data to provide a successful resolution in a competitive selling situation.
  • Establish & maintain relationships with key strategic partners.
  • Consistently update & maintain accurate contract information in our database.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and events pertinent to your designated markets.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports showing sales calls, sales volume, potential sales, closed deals & closing percentage.
Key Skills
  • Ability to secure new contracts for Vantine Imaging each Academic Year to meet annual goals.
  • Ability to close contracts that are not retained in the field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Company products & services and of competitors & competitor products & services.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry contracts and contract-related issues.
